STUFFED STRAWBERRIES RECIPE:
Ingredients:
-1 lb large strawberries
-8 oz. cream cheese, softened
-3-4 tbsp powdered sugar (4 tbsp to make it sweeter)
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-graham cracker crumbs
Directions:
1. Rinse strawberries, cut around the top of the strawberry. Remove the top and clean out with a paring knife, if necessary (some may already be hollow inside). Prep all strawberries and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix and beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add cream cheese mix in ziploc or piping bage with the corner snipped off. Fill strawberries with the cheesecake mixture. Once strawberries are filled, dip the top in the graham cracker crumbs. If not serving immediately, refrigerate until serving.
Tip: If you want the strawberries to stand up on the plate and not tip over, you can trim the bottom of the strawberry. (slightly cut of a thin layer on the bottom). This should help the strawberries stand up and display better.
